Cancellation policy

In order to book we require full prepayment made in advance for all services, this is your non refundable booking fee. Please ensure you are booking the appointment under the clients name. On the day of your appointment you pay separately for your jewellery option(s) + aftercare if required. If you arrive 5 or more minutes late to your appointment you will forfeit your booking fee, we will be as lenient as possible if we don't have an appointment straight after yours. If you reschedule or cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you will forfeit your booking fee and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty. You can reschedule your appointment once a minimum of 48 hours prior to the day of your appointment free of charge with your initial booking fee. If you cancel or reschedule your rescheduled appointment you will forfeit your booking fee and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty. If you no-show any appointment an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty. Failure to pay a cancellation fee means you cannot book with us again until the fee is balanced. Please note that all sales are final.

ID requirements

Bring Valid ID. All clients must bring valid, government issued ID to their appointment, this is non negotiable. This is due to our insurance policy to protect our clients & piercers, without physical ID with you at your appointment we will be unable to proceed with your appointment & you will forfeit your booking fee. This applies to both minors and adults. Clients aged 17 and under are considered minors. A parent or legal guardian must be present with their own physical ID, along with the minor’s ID. For piercings on clients under 18, both the minor and guardian's IDs must be provided. Note: If you book for a minor and fail to bring ID, you will forfeit your booking fee. Examples of acceptable IDs: For minors (under 18): Passport, birth certificate, provisional license (16+) For adults (18+): Driver’s license, passport, or citizen’s card. Please note that ID must have a semi recent, accurate depiction. If not, and failure to produce further identification will result in the appointment cancellation and forfeit of your booking fee. An additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty.

Age limitations

We have age limitations in place which fall in line with our insurance policy and our own personal ethics. If an appointment is booked for an underage client, we can potentially offer something else on compassionate grounds but you may forfeit your booking fee for the time slot taken and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty.

Jewellery policy

Jewellery is charged separately at your appointment; the post is included with your piercing fee and attachments are charged separately, for jewellery changes etc. all jewellery is charged at your appointment. We only install jewellery purchased at Anatomy Arts. We dedicate a lot of time to research our stock to ensure we provide the best our industry has to offer. We know we can trust the materials within the jewellery and our jewellery comes with a warranty against manufacturing issues. If we don’t have what you want in stock, we can custom order it for you. If you arrive to the studio with your own jewellery not originally purchased with us you will forfeit your booking fee. Please note: we do not stock or install PTFE retainer jewellery, we can custom order glass retainers ahead of time if needed. We do not install rings into healing piercings, especially anything under 6 months old.

Appointment notes

For certain appointments particularly jewellery changes, reopening appointments or piercing consultation appointments etc. we have in the appointment description in the first line to please leave a note for what the appointment is in reference to. This is to prepare our piercers for the appointment but also it ensures your appointment can go ahead. If you book wanting our piercers to install your jewellery and not jewellery bought from the studio, that will result in a loss of booking fee. The appointment notes are to ensure we have stock available for you if you wanted something particular as we accept appointments as they come in but can potentially decline if it's not something that suits you but if the appointment cannot go ahead for some reason then the booking fee will be forfeited an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty.

Children in the studio

Non-client children are not permitted in the studio due to safety concerns. If a child not receiving a service is brought to the appointment, you will forfeit your booking fee and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty. This is to keep everyone safe as we work with sharps and contaminated waste and can give you our full, undivided attention.

Attendance allowance

Please arrive on time to your appointment. Upon arrival please press the bell and one of our piercers will come out to you. We operate as a private, appointment only studio. Please arrive at your appointment time as we may still be with our previous client if you are early. Please see above for our lateness grace period. Only 1 emotional support person is allowed per client in the studio due to limited space. Please feel free to bring any personal items with you to your appointment to make yourself feel more comfortable like a sugary drink or snack, electronic tablet, comfortable blanket etc.

Topical numbing cream

We do not pierce if you arrive with numbing cream. It can interfere with the procedure and is not covered under our insurance. If you have a reaction to the cream, we are liable. It can negatively affect your healing also. If you arrive to your appointment wearing numbing cream you will forfeit your booking fee and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty.

Pregnancy/postpartum

We can't pierce you while pregnant or under 6 weeks postpartum for you and your babie(s) safety. If you arrive to your appointment pregnant or less than 6 weeks postpartum you will forfeit your booking fee and an additional flat fee of £25 for fresh piercing or permanent jewellery appointments or £15 for jewellery change, consultation, re-opening/stretching appointments or permanent jewellery repairs (free or not as it's the appointment space taken up) is invoiced to the card used to book with us as a penalty.

Surgery/medical treatments

We can't pierce you while you're undergoing treatment that suppresses the immune system, nor can we pierce you if you've undergone surgery within the last 6 months unless a doctors note is provided or dependant on the procedure. This is to protect your immune system so you can heal comfortably and give any fresh piercings the best chance to heal.
